What is School Loop?

School Loop is a web site that allows parents online access to view their students’ information in the MUSD student information system.

 

What kind of information is available through School Loop?

Through this secure website, parents/guardians will have real-time access to view their students’ data including: attendance, grades, calendars, class schedules, class assignments, and school events.

 

How can I use School Loop?

Access to School Loop requires registration to create an account.  In order to create an account, parents must provide their personal email address, the student’s permanent ID number, and telephone number.  After creating an account, School Loop may be accessed through the URL, http://mai-montebellousd-ca.schoolloop.com

 

Where do I obtain the information to create a School Loop account?

Do I have to have an email address?

Yes, School Loop accounts require an email address.

 

How do I create an account?

Click the “Register Now” button to begin registering a new account.

 

Will I need a password?

Yes, when a new account is created it will be associated with a user-provided password.

 

What should I do if I forget my password?

Click the “Forgot Password?” link on the Macy School Loop log-in screen and follow the instructions on how to create a new password.

 

During my new account registration, I did not receive a verification email confirming my email address and password.  What should I do next?

Check your Spam/Junk Folder.  Be sure to add system@schoolloop.com to your “contacts” or “safe senders” list to ensure you receive these emails.

 

Can more than one parent/guardian have an account to access student data?

Yes, each one would need to register separately and provide their own email address.

 

Gradebook information is available for some of my student’s classes, but not for others.  Why?

Faculty conversion to School Loop is an on-going process and Macy Intermediate is making concerted efforts to increase participation.

 

The contact information on my child’s account is out of date, how can I update it?

Contact the school by telephone to request changes to your child’s contact information.
